![]() Patriotic Weekend’s Activities Include Seven Performers Including Country Legend Earl Thomas Conley And Jody Booth, VIP Experience, Kids’ Carnival, Bean Bag Tournament, BBQ Cookoff and Fun Run JUNE 15, 2015 - The Sealy Community Foundation brings first-class entertainment and family fun to Sealy’s 7th Annual Sealybration July 10-11, 2015. Country singer and songwriter Earl Thomas Conley and Texas music artist Jody Booth will headline the entertainment line-up Saturday with five top notch performers starting Friday including Larry Joe Taylor and Max Stalling. A wine tasting garden featuring local wineries and local brewery Huff Brewing Company is a new feature Friday night. “Every year we take feedback from the community and try to incorporate it into the event. This year we’ve added a wine tasting event Friday night and continue the VIP experience Saturday night,” said Melanie Willingham, President of the Sealy Community Foundation. “We’ve also added to the entertainment line-up and hope everyone will come out to enjoy the weekend and support the Sealy community.” The gates open at 6 p.m. Friday, July 10 featuring food and retail vendors, the bean bag tournament, the Kidzone carnival, BBQ cook off and Annual Stars & Strikes Classic softball tournament. The 5 Alarm 5K and 1K Rookie fun runs are also held Friday night and benefit the Sealy Volunteer Fire Department. At 8:30 p.m. the musical entertainment gets started with performances by Texas country artists Max Stalling and Larry Joe Taylor at 10:30 p.m. The gates open at 8 a.m. Saturday for all day fun at the Kidzone carnival, the tractor show, softball tournament as well as the retail and food vendors. Musical entertainment starts at 5 p.m. with Fred Rusk & the Zydeco Hi-Steppers. Up-and-coming Texas music artist, Cole Deggs, take the stage next with Earl Thomas Conley at 9:45 p.m. and Jody Booth finishing off the night at 11:30 p.m. A spectacular fireworks show will light up the night sky at 9:15 p.m. A new feature this year is Friday night’s wine tasting garden where with the purchase of a $5 Sealybration keepsake glass attendees enjoy tastings from local wineries. Huff Brewing Company of Bellville will also be on hand with their craft brews. The popular VIP experience is $60 a ticket and includes reserved parking close to the venue, front row seats for the concerts, a catered meal, discounted beer, private restrooms and an unrestricted view of the fireworks. Also, all VIP ticket holders will be entered in a drawing to attend a meet-and-greet with the musical entertainers. Admission for Friday, July 10 is $10 for adults, $5 for children 6-12, and 5 and under are free with festival hours running from 6 p.m. until midnight. Saturday, July 11 entry is $10 for adults from 10 a.m. until 5 p.m. and $15 from 5 p.m. until close. Children 6-12 are $5, and 5 and under are free all day. Early combo passes are available for $20 and include entry for both days. The early combo passes and the VIP tickets are available at Sealy City Hall, Sealy Chamber of Commerce, Citizens State Bank, Ranch Country Homes and Riverside Tire Center.
